My first imovie trailer: Cyberbullying: A Real Nightmare
Being a teacher in the 21st century means constantly finding new ways to make your students enjoy learning while integrating technology into your lessons. iMovie could be just the tool to introduce lessons, make a class assessment more engaging, or even give students a glimpse at a possible career path.

iMovie is easy to learn, fun to master, and is a wealth of possibility for both teachers and students. The video below is a trailer I created as a potential introduction to a higher grade elementary lesson on cyberbullying.
It may be simple and it may need work, but for a first effort in exploring what the app has to offer, I could already see the infinite possibility within this app. It could be used to give visual learners a better opportunity to express content knowledge, make a lesson more fun in those less entertaining subjects, and open up the world of filmmaking to our classrooms. I also love that it is so easy to use because it can be an educational tool in both the younger elementary grades and up through college level courses. With templates and simple customization options, it can be a learning tool for younger students and a puzzle for older students. Also, when it is free to download on new devices and only $4.99 in the App Store, it's a great deal with a lot to offer.
